Industrial Property Brokers expands its reach with deal

Industrial Property Brokers, of Sidney, recently underwent alignment with another company.

Industrial Property Brokers was formed in 2005 by Tim Echemann, a real estate professional with more than 25 years experience in industrial sales and leasing. Prior to starting the firm, he served as vice president of sales and marketing for Miller Valentine Brokerage in Cincinnati. He previously managed the Dayton office of Ostendor-Morris Colliers.

Recently, the company aligned with CORFAC International, an international association of leading entrepreneurial and privately held commercial real estate service providers. This new alliance now gives IPB the opportunity to provide clients with global access to available property opportunities, IPB officials said.

Industrial Property Brokers specializes in industrial leasing and sales throughout Western Ohio and the urban areas of Cincinnati, Dayton, Columbus and Toledo. The company has a satellite office in the Toledo area and also covers eastern Indiana.

"We believe that joining CORFAC International will provide our company with access to premier networking, educational and technological resources," said Echemann, principal of Industrial Property Brokers. "In turn, our clients will benefit by the new affiliation and access to resources, resulting in an expanded customer base and increased market share."

IPB clients have included Honda, Campbell Soup, Alcoa, Union Camp, Paul Sherry, Pioneer Standard, Electronics, Nestle, Miami Valley Steel, United Technologies, General Motors, Airstream, Robert Rothschild Farm, Stuart Lichter and Workflow One.

"IPB completes several referral transactions per year, both inbound and outbound with fellow SIOR brokers and CORFAC firms in various markets," Echemann said. "So the affiliation with CORFAC International was a natural next step."

CORFAC International is one of the largest commercial real estate services organizations in the world and celebrated its 20th year in 2009. U.S.-based CORFAC is comprised of privately held entrepreneurial firms serving more than 150 markets in the Americas and internationally through alliances in the United Kingdom.

"Industrial Property Brokers has a stellar reputation as the premier industrial brokerage firm in Western Ohio and Eastern Indiana," said CORFAC International 2010 president Owen Rouse, who also is a senior vice president and director of capital markets with Manekin, LLC/CORFAC International based in Columbia, Md. "The combination of the IPB's industrial expertise and CORFAC's global platform and powerful marketing resources will better serve the firm's clients, as well as provide the local market knowledge needed to fulfill the requirements of inbound referrals."

CORFAC International invites firms to join the organization based on geographic markets and the ability of the firm to respond to the requirements of clients and colleagues for services.

Industrial Property Brokers, 213 N. Ohio Ave., Sidney, is a premier, full-service commercial real estate company offering sales, leasing, investment analysis, tenant representation and property and project management throughout west central Ohio.
