Industrial Property Brokers has joined CORFAC International, an organization of independently-owned commercial real estate services firms.
The Sidney-based real estate firm joined CORFAC in January and is now Industrial Property Brokers CORFAC International.
Tim Echemann, principal and broker with Industrial Property Brokers, said becoming a member of CORFAC International gives his firm a national and international presence.
“This will allow us to provide a higher level of service to our current customer base,” Echemann said.
Industrial Property Brokers will remain independently owned, but will pay an annual fee to be a part of the organization.
Becoming a part of Hollywood, Fla.-based CORFAC International gives the firm access to more potential customers and an infrastructure of technology that supports each firm’s brokers.
It can also help Industrial Property Brokers find space for local clients in other parts of the country and across the globe, officials said. It also can aid clients outside the area looking for space in the Dayton region.
There are 62 CORFAC International independent offices in North America.
Industrial Property has two brokers and four full-time employees. Its clients have included Honda, Campbell Soup, Alcoa, United Technologies and General Motors. The firm specializes in industrial leasing and sales throughout western Ohio and eastern Indiana. The company also has a satellite office in Toledo.
CORFAC is comprised of privately-held firms serving 78 markets in the Americas and more than 150 markets around the world through relationships with London-based King Sturge and Buenos Aires-based Latin American Corporate Property Services. The organization averages 10,000 real estate transactions annually, encompassing 300 million square feet of space and valued at $25 billion.
