New development slated for Sidney

SIDNEY —  Developers are gearing up to build Echo Business Center, a 16-acre commercial park that will include retail, restaurants, businesses and medical offices.

Echo Development Corp. has begun planning on a 4,200 square foot retail building for the development. Construction is expected to start later this spring, according to a news release from Industrial Property Brokers, which is marketing the property.

The development will set next to Vandemark Road, on the west side of Sidney, the news release states.

"In spite of the current slow economy, Echo Development is taking this bold step because it believes that an economic rebound is inevitable and with that rebound will come growth and expansion for Sidney," said Tim Echemann of Industrial Property Brokers.
