Farr APC expands into Piqua facility

PIQUA - Farr Air Pollution Control (APC), a leader in Industrial Dust Collectors and Fume Collection Equipment, has expanded its operations into 405 Fox Drive, Piqua.

Farr's business involves being the experts in cleaning up the dust and fumes that are left behind in about every manufacturing process. The company pledges to make dust collectors to fit just about any type of dust or fume.

Farr APC is headquartered in Jonesboro, Ark. and is also in the process of locating regional offices in Charlotte, N. C. and Dallas, Texas. Camfil Farr is a worldwide company with Corporate Headquarters in Trosa, Sweden. They also have factories in Laval, Canada; Manchester, England and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. A part of Farr APC goal is to be green. They help their customers go green by stopping thousands of different pollutants from entering the workspace air and the outside air.


"The facility at Fox Drive will be used as a Regional Office and training center for our air pollution control division," said Matt Caulfield, regional manger for the Industrial Dust Collection Division. "We chose the building for its easy access to I-75 and the Dayton Airport. Our plan is to be up and running by March 1 and we have hired a new service technician that will have an office locally as well," Caulfield said.
