Industrial Property Brokers selected as exclusive broker for new Urbana Distribution Center
Damewood Enterprises, Ltd. has selected Industrial Property Brokers as the company’s exclusive broker for their new Urbana Distribution Center. The facility, purchased by Jerry and Kim Damewood, formerly housed the Fox River Paper Company which recently closed.
The first new occupant for 50,000 square feet of the 350,000 square foot facility that Tim Echemann of IPB brought to the facility is Robert Rothschild Farm. The company will use the space for both warehousing and offices. “We had storage in various places,” commented Mike Maloy, Rothschild’s Vice President of Operations. “We had outgrown our old warehouse so this was a good consolidation for the company.”
“We are already getting a lot of inquiries about this new distribution center,” commented Echemann. “The Damewoods rescued this facility from simply sitting idol. Their vision will surly revitalize the building and may even attract additional jobs to the site.”
“We are excited about the prospects for the building and about our relationship with IPB. With the connections they have in the region, we hope to have the space fully occupied in six to twelve months,” said Brad Damewood, son of owners.
